The minimally invasive techniques of skull base surgery offer you faster recovery time with fewer side effects and less visible scarring.

Our nationally recognized brain tumor specialists use in-depth assessment and diagnostic tools to ensure that every treatment option is considered and fully explained to you. Among the wide range of treatment options and clinical trials we offer, one or more of these may be part of your personalized plan:

  • Minimally invasive brain tumor surgery: including endoscopic techniques that capture detailed images of the brain and allow surgeons to detect and correct problems without making large incisions
  • Robotic radiosurgery: a technologically advanced nonsurgical treatment option that may benefit patients who have inoperable or surgically complex tumors or those who desire an alternative to surgery
  • Fluorescence-guided imaging: an imaging process that uses special fluorescent markers to help precisely identify the borders of a tumor and aid in full removal of the tumor while minimizing risk to the surrounding brain
  • Immunotherapy: a biological therapy using your own immune system to help fight against disease, such as cancer
  • Proton therapy: targeted brain tumor radiation offering powerful treatment capabilities with fewer side effects
  • Targeted chemotherapy: a drug-based treatment therapy used to identify and destroy cancers

Following surgery, you are transferred to our neurosurgical/neurovascular intensive care unit (NVICU), where dedicated teams of intensive care physicians and nurses monitor you 24/7.
