Nephrostomies
A nephrostomy is performed to help urine drain properly. Nephrostomy and ureteral stenting may be necessary for patients whose normal urine drainage is blocked by renal stones, mass, edema (swelling), scarring, trauma or malignant encasement of the ureter.
Fistulagrams
A fistulagram is an X-ray procedure that is used to assess the blood flow in a fistula (an artificial connection of an artery and a vein that is not working properly). The procedure involves placing a small needle into the graft and injecting contrast, which helps the radiologist identify any narrowing (stenosis) or blockages. Treatments, such as renal dialysis access, may be used to treat any blockages that are found.

Kidney transplant services
The kidney transplant team is here to offer specialized care and transplant support services. We offer both deceased and living donor kidney transplants, ABO incompatible kidney transplants and paired exchange kidney donations.
