What are the signs of a stroke?
It's important to understand the signs of a stroke so you can seek medical attention quickly. Stroke symptoms usually develop suddenly and can include:

The stroke team treats patients with clot-dissolving medications and IV thrombosis, approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). These treatments can dramatically increase the chance of recovery after stroke but must be administered within three hours of when symptoms start. Endovascular therapies are also available.

The ER at Medical City Dallas is fully equipped to offer emergency care to stroke patients when minutes matter the most. For your convenience, we have a patient drop-off zone located in front of the ER entrance. We offer parking for $1 per hour with a maximum of $4 for the day.
