As a Level 1 Stroke Center, we have the capability to deliver the full spectrum of stroke care, including diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and education.

The stroke team is able to treat patients with the clot-dissolving medication: tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This treatment can dramatically increase the chance of recovery after stroke but must be administered within three hours of when symptoms start.

We also offer a wide range of surgical options for stroke patients, including:

  • Carotid endarterectomy

  • Aneurysm clipping
  • Ventriculostomy placement
