Children's mental health care in North Texas

Medical City Healthcare provides inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care for adolescents (12 to 17 years old) who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis or issue. Through our specialized behavioral health hospital, we offer care for a variety of mood disorders and other psychiatric needs.

Intensive outpatient care for adolescents

We offer an adolescent intensive outpatient program (IOP) to help children and teens learn how to manage depression and other mood disorders, relationship problems, substance abuse, self-endangering behavior and social skills.

Psychiatric emergency services

If your child is experiencing a psychiatric emergency, we are able to help. Once they are in our care, we provide evaluations and determine appropriate ongoing care. Your child is monitored around-the-clock to ensure their safety and immediate needs are met.
