Tele-psychiatry Services

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Medical City Green Oaks Hospital is open and stands ready to assist patients who are in need of emergent psychiatric help. As an added accommodation, Medical City Green Oaks offers mental health solutions available to new and existing patients remotely. Our clinical staff can guide you through each step—from the initial appointment to ongoing tele-treatment.

Patients have the option to attend in person or from home.

Medical City Green Oaks accepts most major health insurance plans, several Medicaid and Medicare plans for psychiatry and most major insurance plans for outpatient programs and counseling. There is also a cash pay option.

Child and teen mental health

Managing mental health conditions as an adult can be complicated, but we provide a variety of options to offer flexibility in treatment. Our adult behavioral health services are available through inpatient and outpatient programs, as well as a partial hospitalization program for day treatment. Adult behavioral health services are available at Medical City Green Oaks, Medical City McKinney and Medical City North Hills.

Senior mental health

For patients 55 years old and older, the treatment teams at both Medical City McKinney and Medical City North Hills understand the sensitive nature of someone older experiencing fear, anxiety, and depression. We are here to provide a safe and therapeutic treatment experience for senior adults needing crisis stabilization and emotional support during difficult times.

Inpatient behavioral health at Medical City McKinney

Opening summer 2020: Medical City McKinney is proud to announce the opening of our new Behavioral Health Pavilion on the Medical City McKinney campus in McKinney, Texas. The Pavilion is a 65,000-square-foot behavioral health treatment facility with 80 inpatient behavioral health beds with room to expand our space in the future. It is designed to insure patient safety, comfort and provides environmental aesthetics to assist with the healing process. Programming includes separate space for both adults and senior adults. The building includes open outdoor courtyard and common areas designed to enhance the healing process for our patients.

Medical City McKinney has been the leading inpatient behavioral health provider in Collin County for many years. Treatment is provided in a warm and nurturing environment for adults and seniors with a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, suicidal and/or aggressive behavior, psychotic thinking and bipolar disorder.

Specialized behavioral health hospital in Dallas, Texas

We provide mental health and chemical dependency treatment for adolescents, adults and seniors. Additionally, patients have access to crisis stabilization, emergency services, inpatient care and outpatient treatment.
