Biography
Dr. Smith is dual board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Electrical Engineering, during which time he worked for the United States Navy as a civilian conducting sonar research. He worked at an engineering firm in Houston for several years, but after experiencing the healthcare system first-hand, he decided to switch careers and become a physician.
