Pediatric ER at Medical City Frisco: Peace of Mind for Parents

Jackson Daneke was excited to celebrate turning 8 when a backyard fall and a badly broken arm unexpectedly canceled his birthday plans. Mom Amy rushed him to Medical City Frisco’s Pediatric ER, where Medical City Children’s Hospital pediatric orthopedic surgeon Shyam Kishan, MD, performed a closed surgery that pinned Jackson’s arm back together. The Height of Good Care at Medical City Arlington

Hiram Marin was volunteering at his church when he fell 14 feet off of a ladder propped against the roof. He went home, but three days later ended up in Medical City Arlington’s ER and Level III Trauma Center. When major damage to his neck was discovered, neurosurgeon Gregory Ward, MD, performed spinal surgery to repair his C6 vertebra and prevent him from possibly being paralyzed.
