Plano–Medical City Plano recently added two new senior executives to its leadership team.
Cameron Howard has been named chief operating officer and Brad Stein is now serving as chief financial officer. Stein will also serve as chief financial officer over Medical City Frisco, Medical City Plano’s sister hospital.
Prior to this role, Brad Stein served as the chief financial officer and chief staffing officer at Medical City McKinney since May 2017, providing leadership over various financial and operational areas of the hospital. During his tenure, Medical City McKinney secured $120 million for key expansion projects, including a new behavioral health and rehabilitation facility and a new hospital tower with an emergency department expansion. Stein was also a part of the successful Level II Trauma designation in 2019 and was instrumental in the implementation of an obstetrics hospitalist program. Prior to joining Medical City McKinney, Stein served as the assistant chief financial officer and chief staffing officer at HCA Healthcare’s Chippenham & Johnston-Willis Hospitals in Richmond, Virginia.
Cameron Howard joins Medical City Plano from St. David’s Healthcare in Austin, Texas where he started in 2012 as an administrative resident from Trinity University. He was quickly promoted to assistant administrator where he had oversight for multiple hospital departments. Howard most recently served as chief operating officer for St. David’s Surgical Hospital where he worked to drive quality improvements and develop the hospital into a premier destination for orthopedic and robotic surgery. In addition to his role at St. David’s Surgical Hospital, Howard served on the leadership team at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center.
