5-star ratings in Healthgrades 2022 Specialty Care Ratings & Awards
North Richland Hills, TX – Medical City North Hills is 5-star rated for outcomes for hip fracture treatment, gastrointestinal surgeries and carotid procedures in the 2022 Specialty Care Ratings & Awards by Healthgrades, a leading resource that connects consumers, physicians and health systems.
Every year, Healthgrades evaluates hospital performance at nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide for 31 of the most common inpatient procedures and conditions. The analysis shows that patients treated at hospitals receiving a 5-star rating have a lower risk experiencing one or more complications during a hospital stay than if they were treated at hospitals receiving a 1-star rating in that procedure or condition.
“The 5-star rating from Healthgrades demonstrates our commitment to outstanding specialty care in every action, every patient, every time,” says Mark Deno, CEO of Medical City North Hills. “This recognition is further validation why Medical City North Hills is the destination of choice for healthcare excellence in North Richland Hills and Northeast Tarrant County.”
“Consumers are increasingly becoming aware of the differences of care provided by different hospitals. Consumers can feel confident that hospitals receiving a Healthgrades 5-star rating have demonstrated exceptional outcomes and their ability to provide quality care,” says Brad Bowman, MD, chief medical officer at Healthgrades.
Medical City North Hills is among nine Medical City Healthcare hospitals honored for outstanding specialty services, including Medical City Arlington, Medical City Children’s Hospital, Medical City Denton, Medical City Fort Worth, Medical City Las Colinas, Medical City Lewisville, Medical City McKinney and Medical City Plano.
