North Richland Hills, Texas — Medical City North Hills ranks among the nation's elite hospitals for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), according to the 2019-20 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals Rankings and Ratings.

U.S. News & World Report released its analysis of the nation's best hospitals along with ratings across 16 adult medical specialties. Medical City North Hills was rated as "High Performing" for COPD.

"Our emphasis on safety and to providing the highest quality healthcare is evident when our experienced specialists and caregivers are recognized through impartial analysis such as U.S. News & World Report."

Nearly 5,000 medical centers along with surveys from 30,000 physicians were analyzed by the magazine's editorial team.

"We use a number of different measures to assess hospital quality and we separately assess each hospital in many different specialties and services that hospitals offer," said Ben Harder, managing editor and chief of health analysis at U.S. News.
