North Richland Hills, TX — Medical City North Hills has announced it has achieved re-designation as a Pathway To Excellence® organization by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for the fifth time.
A Pathway to Excellence distinction requires a thorough facility review process, which documents foundational quality initiatives in creating a positive work environment - as, defined by nurses and supported by research in a voluntary and confidential online survey. The accreditation process includes evaluation of standards in the areas of shared decision-making, leadership, safety, quality, wellbeing and professional development.
"I'm very proud of the work and dedication invested to achieve this great honor for the fifth time at Medical City North Hills," said John Marker, RN, Chief Nursing Officer at Medical City North Hills. "Medical City Healthcare's investment in our nursing leadership, policies and safety enables us to optimize quality nursing care and that results in better outcomes for our patients."
The Pathway to Excellence designation is an international distinction that identifies the elements of work environments where nurses can flourish. The designation validates Medical City North Hills as one of the best places to work for nurses, Marker said.
