Fort Worth — Ulondia Lee, DNP, RN, has joined Medical City Fort Worth as chief nursing officer, effective November 16.

“I’m delighted to welcome Ulondia to our leadership team,” says Jyric Sims, CEO of Medical City Fort Worth. “She brings a wealth of clinical knowledge with a focus on patient safety and quality as well as clinical operations which will ultimately benefit our patients through superior patient care.”

Prior to Medical City Fort Worth, Lee served as chief nursing officer at St. David’s South Austin Medical Center. During her tenure, the hospital achieved a successful Joint Commission reaccreditation survey with zero condition-level deficiencies and improved operational efficiencies and patient experience scores.

She also served as chief nursing officer for Metropolitan Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, where she was recognized as a “Visionary Leader” by the School of Nursing at UT Health San Antonio. She has held numerous nursing leadership positions at several hospital systems in North Texas and is actively involved in multiple professional associations. Lee holds several degrees, including a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Grand Canyon University, a Master of Science in Nursing Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing both from the University of Texas at Arlington.
