DENTON – Medical City Denton has earned Cycle 6 Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI Accreditation from the American College of Cardiology (ACC), making it the only hospital in Denton County to attain this accreditation for heart and vascular treatment.

Hospitals that have earned ACC Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI Accreditation have proven exceptional competency in treating patients with heart attack symptoms and have primary PCI available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. As required to meet the criteria of the accreditation designation, hospital systems are streamlined from admission to treatment and discharge, ensuring each patient has the appropriate post-hospital care and recommendations for assistance and lifestyle changes.
