$10 million investment builds on a $51 million investment made earlier this year

Fort Worth, TXMedical City Alliance broke ground on a new ambulatory surgery center on Thursday, September 3.

The $10 million, 18,630 square foot project features environmentally conscious design and construction and is expected to be complete in early 2021. The ambulatory surgery center is jointly owned with 17 physician partners and will provide surgical services in five specialties including orthopedics, bariatrics, gynecology, ENT and general surgery.  The project was approved in July 2019.

Medical City Alliance is currently undergoing a $51 million expansion that includes two additional patient floors, additional catheterization lab space, emergency room capacity and a new laboratory. The expansions are part of a strategic development plan for the 76-acre campus located at the northeast corner of I35W and North Tarrant Parkway, positioning Medical City Alliance as the destination of choice for healthcare excellence in the Alliance corridor.
