Emily Sneed, RN, named chief nursing officer at Medical City Lewisville

Medical City Lewisville welcomes Emily Sneed as chief nursing officer.

Lewisville, Texas — Emily Sneed, MSN, RN, PCCN, NEA-BC, has been named chief nursing officer (CNO) for Medical City Lewisville, starting Nov. 27.

Prior to this role, Sneed served as ACNO of Medical City Plano since June 2022. She has more than 17 years of nursing experience and began her HCA Healthcare career as a registered nurse at Medical City Plano in 2009. She has served in progressive leadership roles, including nurse educator, assistant nurse manager, nurse manager and nurse director.

“Emily is passionate about patient experience and promoting high-quality, safe patient care in a positive and engaging work environment for nurses,” says John Walker, CEO of Medical City Lewisville. “Her commitment to excellence always in every action, every time will help lead our already outstanding nursing team to the next level of healthcare excellence.”

Sneed earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Missouri State University. She has been awarded the D Magazine Excellence in Nursing Award and recognized as a DFW Great 100 Nurse.
