Arlington, TX – Dillon Rai has been named chief operating officer (COO) for Medical City Arlington, starting March 1.

Rai has served in leadership positions with HCA Healthcare, Medical City Healthcare’s parent company, since 2018. Most recently, he was vice president of operations and then associate chief operating officer at HealthONE’s Swedish Medical Center, a Level I Trauma facility and part of HCA Healthcare. During his tenure at Swedish in Englewood, Colorado, Rai had executive oversight for business development, surgical services, cardiovascular, burn and reconstruction and other key service lines. Additionally, he provided oversight for several large construction projects, including a 90-bed patient tower and a cancer pavilion.

While at Swedish Medical Center, Rai helped the hospital increase performance in patient satisfaction and physician engagement. In addition, he chaired the HealthONE Asian/Pacific Islander Colleague Network.

Rai earned a Master of Health Care Administration from Trinity University and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the University of Maryland.
