“We encourage our community to add a new resolution for 2025 by scheduling to donate blood, platelets or plasma,” Medical City North Hills CEO Spencer Turner says. “Donating blood is an excellent way to make an impact on people in our community while helping create healthier tomorrows for patients.”
Each unit of blood donated can help save up to three lives.
Blood donors must be at least 16 years old, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be in good general health, feeling well. People give blood should eat a nourishing meal before donating and must bring a photo ID.
