Joint replacement

Our patients benefit from evidence-based care and the commitment of an entire joint replacement team. Orthopedic doctors at our hospital have access to the latest surgical technologies. Medical experience is also a priority for us, which is why your team includes physician specialists who have performed hundreds of joint replacements.

We focus on minimally invasive procedures. These surgeries generally result in less pain and quicker recoveries. From joint replacements to resurfacing and revisions, each patient receives the care best suited for their needs.

Specialized orthopedic treatments available through our joint program include:

  • Total joint replacement surgery for the hip, knees and shoulders
  • Reverse shoulder arthroplasty (a prosthesis that "reverses" the mechanical structure of the shoulder)
  • Partial knee replacement surgery
  • Knee and hip resurfacing

Our joint replacement program recently earned recertification by The Joint Commission. This recertification demonstrates our dedication to meeting rigorous standards of quality bone and joint care.

Orthopedic care at Medical City Healthcare

Orthopedic doctors, called orthopedists, take care of bones and joints. This includes knee pain, total joint replacement, issues that impact your spine and more. You might need to see an orthopedist if you have arthritis or osteoporosis, or if you've had a recent sprain, strain or broken bone.
