Allen Marsh, FACHE

Chief Operating Officer

Allen Marsh, FACHE, serves as chief operating officer for Medical City McKinney, starting in April 2023.

In this role, Marsh provides leadership and direct administrative oversight of strategic planning for business development and project management resulting in the growth of services, improvements in patient care, and patient and physician satisfaction.

With nearly two decades of healthcare experience, Marsh served as COO of Medical City Lewisville for four years and was a vice president before that role in HCA Healthcare’s Continental Division. Prior to HCA Healthcare, he spent 10 years working for various North Carolina and Georgia facilities.

Marsh earned a Master of Health Administration and a Master in Business Administration from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.


Manjula Julka

Chief Medical Officer, MD, FAAFP, MBA

Manjula Julka, MD, joined the leadership team at Medical City McKinney in December 2022.

Dr. Julka is a board-certified family physician with a background in designing innovative pathways for patient care initiatives. She comes with over 20 years of experience in leading and ensuring the highest quality of care and excellence in patient experience.

Prior to this role, Dr. Julka served as vice president of medical affairs at Signify Health. She was vice president of clinical innovation at the Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation and medical director at UT Southwestern Medical Center. The author of multiple publications, she has led healthcare panels at both the national and regional levels.

Dr. Julka earned a medical degree from the University of Bombay in India and served her residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.


Renee Sturgeon

Chief Financial Officer

Renee Sturgeon joined Medical City McKinney at Chief Financial Officer in September 2022. She came from Medical City Lewisville, where she held the same position since 2018.

As CFO, Renee has direct reporting responsibility for all financial operations and oversight of finance, patient access, health information management, case management, revenue integrity, IT&S, and supply chain, hospitalist program and inpatient rehabilitation.

Renee has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare finance, and previously served as the Vice President of Finance for Medical City Dallas and Medical City Children’s Hospital, as well as other roles throughout HCA Healthcare over the years. Throughout her career, Renee has displayed a record of proven results with financial, operational and strategic initiatives.

Renee earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in accounting from The University of Texas at Dallas.


Megan Gallegos, DNP, BS, RN, NEA-BC

Chief Nursing Officer

Megan Gallegos, DNP, BS, RN, NEA-BC, joined Medical City McKinney as chief nursing officer (CNO) in October 2023. She previously served four years as CNO of Medical City Lewisville.

As CNO, Gallegos provides leadership, strategic direction and direct administrative oversight of all aspects of clinical operations, nursing education and development, clinical quality outcomes and patient experience.

After beginning her nursing career in 2009 working in intensive care, Gallegos has since served in progressive leadership roles at HCA Healthcare hospitals, including director of critical care, administrative director of emergency services and assistant chief nursing officer. Her strategic leadership promotes high-quality, safe patient care in a positive and engaging work environment for colleagues.

Gallegos earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Nursing Executive Administration and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Oklahoma State University. She is Nurse Executive Advanced-Board-Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and an active member of the Texas Organization of Nurse Executives and the American Organization of Nurse Leaders (AONL).
