Are you a candidate for bariatric surgery?

Before you undergo bariatric surgery, we must first determine that you are a bariatric surgery candidate. Candidates for bariatric surgery must have either a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or greater or a BMI of 35 or greater and one of the following health conditions:

  • Type II diabetes
  • Hypertension
  • Gastrointestinal disorder
  • Heart disease
  • Sleep apnea
  • Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Lipid abnormalities

Types of bariatric surgery we offer

We offer bariatric surgery candidates a wide range of weight loss surgery options, including:

  • Gastric sleeve
  • Gastric bypass (Roux-en-Y)
  • Lap band care
  • Surgical revisions

Non-surgical weight loss services

We also offer non-surgical solutions to help you reach your weight loss goals, such as:

  • Medically managed weight loss program — We provide you with resources to help you lose weight through dietary and behavioral changes.
  • Gastric balloon — This non-surgical procedure involves inserting two balloons into your stomach and filling them with a saline solution. The balloons take up room in your stomach, helping you lose weight by curbing your appetite.
