Cartilage replacement

The orthopedic team at our hospital can restore and replace joints. We offer advanced technologies and surgical techniques to preserve and enhance natural cartilage.

Instead of traditional replacement surgery using artificial plastic and metal joints, it is now possible to replace damaged cartilage with viable, living cartilage. Through this process, orthopedic doctors can restore and resurface joints to a normal state.

Preoperative joint replacement classes

We host preoperative hip and knee replacement classes for all joint replacement surgery patients. Classes provide information about:

  • Preparing for surgery
  • Hospital expectations during your stay
  • What you need for a successful recovery after discharge

Classes are held on the first and third Wednesdays of every month at 1pm.
