Christina Mathis, Chief Executive Officer

Christina Mathis was named chief executive officer for Medical City Frisco in November 2023.

Prior to this position, she served as chief operating officer (COO) of Medical City Plano for two years, contributing to the facility’s operations, strategy, governance and culture. Mathis previously served as COO, ethics and compliance officer and chief staffing officer at HCA Healthcare’s St. David's Georgetown Hospital in Georgetown, Texas. She began her HCA Healthcare career as an associate administrator at Medical City Plano in 2017 before being promoted to vice president of operations and assistant COO at the hospital.

 

Mathis earned a Master of Health Care Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin. In 2023, she was featured by Becker's Hospital Review as a rising star in healthcare under the age of 40. She’s also an active board member of the American College of Healthcare Executives North Texas chapter and the Plano ISD Education Foundation.

John Hedgpeth, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, Chief Nursing Officer

John Hedgpeth, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, joined Medical City Frisco as chief nursing officer in April 2023.

As CNO, Hedgpeth provides leadership, strategic direction and direct administrative oversight of all aspects of clinical operations, nursing education and development, clinical quality outcomes and patient experience.

With an impressive track record of success and leadership excellence, Hedgpeth served as assistant chief nursing officer at Medical City Fort Worth prior to this role. He began his career at Medical City Fort Worth as a neuro ICU nurse in 2009, quickly advancing in progressive leadership roles.

Hedgpeth earned a Master of Science in Nursing Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and an associate’s degree from the nursing program at Tarrant County College. He graduated from the HCA Healthcare Advanced Leadership Program in 2021 and was recognized as a 2022 DFW Great 100 Nurse.[No text in field]

Andy Kelly, Chief Financial Officer

Andy Kelly was named chief financial officer (CFO) for Medical City Frisco in May 2024.

In this role, Kelly has direct reporting responsibility for all financial departments, including finance, patient access, health information management, case management, revenue integrity, IT&S and supply chain.

He came to Medical City Frisco from Healthtrust Supply Chain of North Texas, where he had been CFO since 2022, providing comprehensive financial oversight of the North Texas and Central & West Texas (CWT) division supply chain teams. Before joining Healthtrust, Kelly was vice president of finance for Medical City Plano and Medical City Frisco for three years.

Kelly earned a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Tennessee. He is also a certified public accountant.

Jordan Allred, Chief Development Officer

Jordan Allred is the chief development officer (CDO) for Medical City Plano, Medical City Frisco, and Medical City Sachse - a campus of Medical City Plano since December 2023.

As CDO, Jordan is responsible for overall business development and strategy for all campuses. He previously served as vice president of development and operations for Medical City Children’s Hospital and Medical City Women’s Hospital Dallas since January 2022. Prior to this, Jordan served as director of physician services for Medical City Healthcare’s Physician Services Group.

Originally from North Carolina, Jordan earned a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Appalachian State University.

Jonathan Clarke, MD, Chief Medical Officer

Jonathan Clarke, MD, joined Medical City Plano as chief medical officer (CMO) in October 2023. In this role, Dr. Clarke oversees quality, patient safety, risk management, infection prevention and medical staff services. He also provides clinical direction to physicians and clinicians at Medical City Frisco, a department of Medical City Plano.

A U.S. Navy and Air Force veteran with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, Dr. Clarke is an accomplished physician leader, healthcare executive and entrepreneur who brings diverse experiences and perspectives to Medical City Plano’s executive team. He previously served as CMO of HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast. Prior to that, he served as a regional medical director for Envision Healthcare in Dallas, where he led significant improvements in quality measures as well as accreditation and reaccreditation of chest pain, stroke and trauma programs.

Board-certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Clarke is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP). He also earned an MBA in Healthcare Management from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas. He earned his medical degree from the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami in 2002.

Neyaz Mohammadi, Vice President of Operations

Neyaz Mohammadi joined Medical City Frisco as vice president of operations in July 2023.

Neyaz joined Medical City Healthcare in January 2021 as an administrative resident, where she played an integral part in the analysis and execution of several significant facility and division-wide initiatives. She also gained valuable experience in strategy, operation, data analytics and business development at Medical City Plano, Medical City Arlington, Medical City Dallas and the Medical City Healthcare division office.

Since December 2021, Neyaz served as the assistant administrator at Medical City Dallas where she was a valued senior leadership team member. During her tenure, she worked on capital project development, business development initiatives and assisted with programmatic development.

Neyaz earned a Master of Science in Health Care Administration from Trinity University. In addition, she earned a Master of Science in Medical Sciences from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Trinity University.

The Medical City Frisco Board of Trustees advises the leadership team on the community’s need and advocates on behalf of the hospital. Members represent key civic, corporate and philanthropic leaders from Frisco and surrounding communities.
