Chest Lung Evaluation and Resource Clinic

The Chest Lung Evaluation and Resource (CLEAR) Clinic at Medical City Lewisville offers low-dose computed tomography (CT) lung cancer screenings for individuals at a high risk of developing lung cancer. This test can help increase your chances of detecting lung cancer early, before it becomes advanced or moves to another area of the body. The screening is noninvasive, painless and takes just a few minutes.

If you're 50 years old or older and have smoked for 20 years or more, a low-dose CT lung screening might be right for you. To see if you qualify for a CT scan, call our CLEAR Clinic's main line at (972) 221-2247.

Cancer Resource Center

Medical City Lewisville, in partnership with the American Cancer Society, supports patients and the local community through our Cancer Resource Center. The Center, located near the front entrance of the hospital, provides information and direct assistance to patients with cancer, their caregivers, their families and the local community.

The Cancer Resource Center is staffed by trained volunteers who are available to listen, support and educate. Volunteers are knowledgeable about American Cancer Society programs and community resources for people who need assistance. We also connect patients to support groups in North Texas and resources, such as:

  • Wigs
  • Scarves
  • Hats
  • Mastectomy bras
  • Comfort pillows
  • Blankets
  • Medical equipment

The Cancer Resource Center is available by appointment only and is staffed by hospital volunteers. For more information, call the Cancer Resource Center at (972) 420-1544.

Arriving for oncology appointments

Medical City Lewisville is east of Interstate 35 East and south of West Main Street. You can reach our parking lot from Ray Dunning Boulevard or Degan Street. Free parking is available in the lot by our main entrance at:

For oncology appointments, you'll check in at the Welcome Desk inside the first floor lobby by the main hospital entrance. Oncology care is provided in the medical/surgical unit on the fourth floor.
