Cardiac rehab program services

If your child has had a cardiac procedure, or has a known cardiac condition, an exercise routine may be the last thing on your mind. However, for a variety of heart conditions, a supervised cardiac rehab program can help improve your child's overall quality of life. The three components of our cardiac rehab program are: supervised exercise, lifestyle education and psychosocial support.

The cardiac rehab program is tailored to each child's needs, in accordance with the physician's guidance.

Patients in our program receive:

  • Monitored exercise sessions
  • Supervised cardiovascular exercise and activity training
  • Blood pressure and electrocardiogram (EKG) heart rate monitoring
  • Weekly cardiac, medication and healthy lifestyle education

If you are interested in enrolling your child in the program, talk to your child's pediatrician, cardiologist or cardiac rehab specialist.
