Medical City Weatherford has a full-service laboratory offers testing for a variety of conditions and symptoms. We collect samples of blood and other bodily fluids to analyze and provide results to your doctor, among other diagnostic tests. We are accredited by The Joint Commission to better serve you.
Diagnostic labs we offer
All of our testing is available 24 hours a day, with routine testing completed within four hours and the option for rush testing, as well.
The laboratory has a full-service microbiology section that performs sensitivity testing against a variety of antibiotics. Transfusion services, also known as the "blood bank" section of our lab, provides blood products for transfusion or therapeutic phlebotomy. We also perform testing and provide treatment for Rh-negative mothers.

Getting diagnostic testing
To schedule or reschedule an outpatient laboratory service, please call our central scheduling team at (682) 582-1020. Primary care physicians or specialists typically order lab testing and may provide patients with paperwork to bring to their appointment.
As well as providing service for hospital inpatients, specimens can be collected and/or dropped off at several locations. Courier service is also available to many physician offices.
