The information that we ask you to provide is not only very important to the hospital but also very important to you. Our duty as Admission Specialists is to make sure that we obtain the correct information from you for your medical records and also for billing purposes. We ask that when you come to the hospital to please be sure and bring your medical insurance cards, method of payment (cash / check / credit card), picture I.D. and if available the order from your Physician. This information along with your personal demographic information (address and phone number, etc.) will help to ensure that your time during the registration process is friendly, prompt and efficient. ER, outpatient registration and PBX

The ER and Outpatient Registration department and PBX department is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 365 days a year. In order to ensure that we are tending to every healthcare related concern of each patient, our centralized scheduling, insurance verification and financial counseling staff are here regular business hours during the week and work diligently with all service locations throughout Medical City Weatherford. The Financial Counselors educate patients about their medical bills and what payment arrangements we can make to help them with any existing debt and future dates of service.

Pre-registration

You may Pre-Register for your scheduled appointments by calling our Admissions Department, Monday – Friday 8:00am to 7:00pm, at (682) 582-1010. We would like for you to pre-register after the ordering physician has scheduled your appointment with the hospital. Please be sure to remember that when calling to pre-register to have your medical insurance cards with you so that we can ensure that your claim will be billed to your insurance provider properly.

You are likely to receive two billing statements: one from the hospital for the technical portion of your service, and the other from the physician(s). At Medical City Weatherford, charges for the physician services are not included in the hospital bill. The physicians are paid by directly billing the insurance companies and patients.

As a courtesy to you, physicians bill your insurance company using information provided by the hospital from the service. Some insurance companies do not cover some or all of the physician services and you may be responsible for paying the charges. To learn which charges your insurance company does and doesn’t cover, you will need to contact your insurance company.
