Low-dose X-ray imaging

Medical City Spine Hospital offers advanced imaging services, including a low-dose X-ray system. These low radiation scans are a breakthrough in imaging devices, transmitting up to 85 percent less radiation than traditional X-ray scans.

Unlike traditional 2D models, our X-rays create a detailed images of how the patient’s body works in real time. This technology is especially effective for diagnosing and treating back pain, neck pain and scoliosis. Low-dose X-rays take about 20 seconds to complete, with a total time of about four minutes for a full frontal and lateral spinal exam. Scans can be done with patients either sitting or standing.


Scheduling a medical imaging appointment

All imaging services require doctor's orders before an appointment can be set. Your primary care physician or specialist can send their orders to us, or they may give you paperwork to bring in to your imaging appointment.

Medical City Spine Hospital offers advanced imaging services, including the EOS(R) low-dose X-ray system. EOS scans demonstrate a breakthrough in imaging devices, transmitting up to 85 percent less radiation than traditional X-ray scans.
