A gentle smile and a helping hand! Each volunteer at Medical City Arlington is a valued member of our hospital team. As a volunteer you have the opportunity to touch lives and make a difference with a helping hand and a caring heart. What a wonderful way to interact with others while sharing your valuable time and talents. Being a volunteer at Medical City Arlington will enhance your life through your volunteer commitment. Our volunteers are a diverse and talented group of people who share the joy of making life better for others - truly the human spirit in action.
Volunteers are an integral part of the services we offer at Medical City Arlington, and we are always looking for more volunteers to be a part of our growth. Volunteer opportunities include the following:
- Delivering patient mail and flowers
- Transporting patients
- Escorting visitors
- Working at the information desk
- Much more!
Volunteers enjoy a variety of activities throughout the year, including, a National Volunteer Week recognition luncheon, an annual holiday party and free meals in the hospital cafeteria. Some volunteers attend the annual Texas Hospital Association for Auxiliary convention.

Medical City Arlington offers student and senior volunteer opportunities. Student volunteers must be 18 years of age, a high school graduate and commit to 12 consecutive months of volunteer service. Student volunteers, that qualify, are eligible for annual scholarships provided by the Hospital Auxiliary.
The Volunteer Request form is available below or you can pick up a volunteer application at the front desk in the main lobby at Medical City Arlington, 3301 Matlock Road, Arlington TX. 76015, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, except holidays. Once we receive your completed application we will get back in touch with you.
