Pastoral Care
Illness often turns one's attention to spiritual matters. The Hospital Chapel is located on the first floor around the corner from the Medical Mall. The Chapel is open at all times to every denomination. A Hospital Chaplain is available throughout the week and may be requested by calling the Hospital Operator. In addition, a team of Pastoral Care Volunteers make hospital rounds throughout the week. Please tell your nurse if you would like a chaplain visit. In addition, emergency Chaplain visits are available 24 hours a day by contacting the hospital operator.
Security
Uniformed security guards are available on the medical campus 24 hours a day for the benefit of patients and visitors. If you or your family need escort services to a parked vehicle, contact the Hospital Operator.
Valuables and Personal Belongings
We request that you leave all valuables at home. Medical City Arlington does not accept responsibility for lost or stolen valuables or personal items. If necessary, your nurse can arrange to store small items in the hospital safe.
Food and Snacks
The cafeteria is located on the first floor of the hospital past the Medical Mall. Meals are served three times a day. Vending machines are also located in the cafeteria.
Televisions
All patient rooms have a television with a wide array of cable channels. Many rooms also have VCR and/or DVD players.
