Opioid addiction treatment
Medical City Green Oaks offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid addiction. Psychiatrists administer treatment and various therapies to reduce chemical dependency on opioids such as heroin and prescription painkillers.
MAT is a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to treating substance abuse disorders using medications in combination with behavioral and counseling therapies.
MAT provides a safe and controlled level of medication that can provide relief from withdrawal symptoms and psychological cravings while helping patients overcome opioid addiction or abuse.
Integrated counseling and behavioral services are offered through The Oak Counseling and Psychiatric Services for adults 18 years and older.
