At Medical City Green Oaks, you can walk in day or night, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and be seen, in person, by a specially trained licensed mental health professional, along with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses and therapists. We understand that if you are suffering from a behavioral health episode, you want to go to a safe environment to get the immediate care that you need.
Our hospital offers a comfortable atmosphere to help address your crisis for any mental health condition or substance use disorder addressing your specific needs, so you don’t have to wait in an inappropriate setting such as a hospital emergency room.

- We are pleased to offer outpatient psychiatric services conveniently located on the Medical City Dallas campus right next door to our main hospital (ages 5 and older) as well as in Professional Building 3 on the Medical City Plano campus (ages 12 and older).
- Medical City Green Oaks Hospital designed a Tele-Psychiatry service so that psychiatrists can be available to patients in a medical facility so they can receive an immediate consultation for transfer to an appropriate psychiatric setting.
