Our goal is provide education on stroke prevention and help you recognize the risk factors and symptoms of a stroke. Eating a healthy diet, knowing your blood pressure and maintaining a healthy exercise routine will go a long way toward prevention.

Aphasia Support Group

Aphasia happens when a person loses the ability to express or understand speech because of brain damage. Aphasia is often caused by a stroke.

Our Aphasia Support Group provides stroke patients and their loved ones an opportunity to receive encouragement from others with aphasia. Attendees with all levels of communication abilities are welcome, and light refreshments will be served.

We meet on the fourth Friday of each month from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at the following address:

The emergency room (ER) at Medical City North Hills is here to provide emergency care for strokes 24/7. The ER entrance is located in the front of the hospital. Parking is available free of charge in our lot.
