CareNow and Urgent Care Locations
Recently, Medical City Healthcare announced the acquisition of Coppell-based CareNow. CareNow becomes part of HCA Physician Services Group, folding into Medical City Healthcare, a network of 30 clinics and 130 physicians. Founded in 1993, CareNow has grown to become one of the largest independent providers of urgent care, family practice, and occupational health in the United States. In 2013, its clinics served approximately nine percent of the Dallas-Fort Worth population. The transaction has substantially strengthened Medical City Healthcare's primary and urgent-care base, and help provide a seamless continuum of care for its patients. The combination of the two trusted providers links CareNow’s proven network of primary and urgent care centers with the broader resources of a large hospital system.

Unlike other urgent care facilities, Medical City Children's Hospital Urgent Care is designed exclusively to meet the needs of children. Everything from our sticker collection and clinic design, to our specifically pediatric-trained staff, is 100% kid-focused. We are open after hours and on weekends—when your regular pediatrician's office is closed. Because convenience is key when your little one is sick, no appointment is necessary.
