IRVING – Chase Pedersen, RN, has joined Medical City Las Colinas as the chief nursing officer, effective Monday, December 7.
Since 2014, Pedersen has served as the assistant chief nursing officer at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center in Austin, Texas. During his tenure, he led the facility to multiple accreditations including The Joint Commission Primary Stroke and American Heart Association Mission Lifeline Accreditation. Under his leadership, the hospital also increased patient satisfaction scores five consecutive years.

Pedersen joined HCA Healthcare, Medical City Healthcare’s parent company, as an emergency department nurse in 2010. Since then, he has served in progressive leadership roles, including Director of Clinical Informatics and Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center in Austin.
Pedersen holds a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Science from Texas Woman’s University. He is also a graduate of the HCA Healthcare Executive Development Program.
